UPDATE: Methow Valley HEPA Air Purifier Distribution August 2021

Methow Valley Air Purifier Distribution Event @ the Winthrop Barn has ENDED

Thanks to overwhelming interest and participation in the public distribution event on 8.18, all air purifiers alloted for the event have been distributed to Methow Valley Residents.

There will be NO Event TODAY, Thursday 8/19

If you did not have the opportunity to pick up an air purifier, please consider whether you could be served by one of our partner organizations below who are helping distribute these to those most heavily impacted by wildfire smoke and poor indoor air quality. Please note that these organizations have limited supplies.

Partner Organizations:

Town of Twisp: Proof of Methow Valley address. Available during Town Hall business hours M-Th 9-4

Town of Pateros: Open to Methow Valley residents, Criteria to be determined. Public distribution event likely to be held the week of. 8/23

Methow Valley School Dsitrict: To be distributed through the school prioritizing families with children in households qualifying for free or reduced lunch.

AeroMethow: Proof of MV address; Underlying health conditions or elderly; all purifiers have been distributed. 

The Cove: Proof of MV address; receiving food at the food bank; Open 8/19 at 1pm.

We appreciate the huge amount of interest there has been in these air purifiers. It shows just how many people are recognizing that smoke is a serious health concern.
